At Hold The Door - Everyday Concierge Services our mission is to alleviate your stress, and boost mental health and productivity by assisting you with your to-to lists.
Our ultimate goal is to let you focus on your important roles & responsibilities, while supporting you with the ones you’re most comfortable delegating.

‘Hold the Door’ was an idea that came to me in 2019 while shopping for a birthday gift.
I wondered “Would people pay for services like shopping, delivery, and even gift wrapping?” From there my idea came to life. I've spent the last few years curating the "perfect" business idea, essentially wanting to be your 'second self', and help you out where you need it the most.

Our name originates from the notion of holding the door open for someone; a simple act of kindness that could take someone's day from upside down to feeling altogether better.

What Hold the Door - Everyday Concierge Services can do:

  • Administrative duties (data entry, phone calling, arrange appointments, email assistance, social media assistance & more)

  • Corporate tasks (document control, travel arrangements, meeting minutes, project management assistance, conference/meeting planning & more)

  • General errands (banking, personal & holiday shopping, wrapping, deliveries, post office, arrange appointments & more)

  • Grocery shopping, pick up & delivery

  • Help for seniors (light housekeeping, arrange appointments, check-ins & more)

Hi! I’m Maggie

Hey, there! I’m Maggie Marshall-Sloan, thanks for checking me out! I’m an ocean loving, Nova Scotian girl, transplanted in land locked Alberta. I initially moved here for love, and have since built a family, found an amazing community, and now proudly call Leduc my home.

I created this business with the intentions of making new connections, helping others, and finding a purpose for myself as something other than ‘mom’ & ‘wife’.

I have 25 years of combined experience in the customer service industry; including, retail management, administration, and running a successful at home business. Additionally, I have an education in entrepreneurship & small business management.

I crave and thrive off of connection, and helping others is what brings me joy!

Hold the Door - Everyday Concierge Services offers assistance to busy families, individuals, seniors, and businesses. By helping eliminate your to-do list, you can relax and spend your precious time on life's more valuable moments.
